Cordsmith is a revolutionary bespoke tool for creating knitted i-cord. It was created by a maker who understands the process first hand, with the goal of making this creation process easier for other makers.

For most knitters, i-cord is something that’s beautiful to look at but a pain to make. Knitting three stitches, one at a time, over and over again. It takes forever.

Enter the Cordsmith. This simple tool allows you to create a row of i-cord with a single movement, replacing three knit stitches and the time it takes to slide your stitches back to your working needle again. You can create a foot of i-cord in mere minutes. It can also be used to create an i-cord bind-off on a garment.

Now, we also have a mini version that will make thinner i-cord with thinner yarn AND an XL with four hooks for a thicker cord
